wedi Fundo Plano Linea: the flattest complete system with linear drainage
Floor-level showers are popular and in strong demand, but their use in the renovation of old buildings is, however, often not possible due to installation heights available being too low. A solution to this problem was already found by wedi two years ago, as wedi introduced the Fundo Plano – the flattest complete system for floor-level showers. This development, however, showed that not only floor-level shower elements with integrated point drains are in strong demand, but also elements with close-to-wall linear drainage when renovating. The new complete system Fundo Plano Linea is the answer from wedi for exactly this trend: discerning and elegant channel design as well as an extremely limited total installation height of only 70 millimetres.
Just like all Fundo shower elements, wedi Fundo Plano Linea is an installation-ready complete system which is sealed before leaving the factory and which can be tiled directly following installation. It has a horizontal, securely sealed drain which can convey 24 litres per minute. Equipped with a one-sided and even surface slope, the new shower element provides the tiler with the best possible tiling surface, which in turn makes the laying of large tiles very easy. An elegant fine-brushed stainless-steel cover that can be easily adjusted to the respective tile thickness, as well as the corresponding slope and end profiles complete the scope of delivery.
wedi Fundo Plano Linea is, of course, also suitable for wheelchairs from a tile size of 5 x 5 centimetres without any reinforcement work being required in advance.
Systematically 100 per cent watertight All wedi Fundo shower elements are 100 per cent watertight. An extruded polystyrene rigid foam and an additional special coating of fibre-glass mesh and polymer-modified mortar make certain of this. The company provides a warranty that the drain and channel are absolutely watertight.
Can be combined with Riolito Discreto The trendy channel design is not the only optical highlight that wedi Fundo Plano Linea has to offer, however. Because of the combinability with Riolito Discreto, a special attachment element developed by wedi, it is possible to design an attractive wall drain in the shower. It looks as if the water drain is installed in the wall instead of the floor. From 2014, wedi Fundo Plano Linea is available in three different widths (1000, 900 and 800 millimetres) and in two different lengths (1200 and 900 millimetres) from specialist building materials and tile merchants. And not only that, the 1200-millimetre long variant can be shortened by as much as 15 centimetres directly on site as required.
